A Board Game for Two
This is an Old Fashion Board Game, with a Twist.
Just when you think it's over, it may not be. This race can turn
into a chase. The Finish will bring you to edge of your seat.
Objective:
Be the first player to take all four of your marbles from the
Home, (marked in white) to the Finish (marked in blue)
Simple!!! It's not as easy as it sounds.
Game Play:
Each player has four marbles and one die. Chose a color and roll the dice once. You need to roll a 1 or a 6 to come into the game. (If you roll a 6, you roll again) The space marked in green closest to home is the start and move clockwise. The die must land on the game board for the roll to count. If you roll a six, you can come out on to the green space. That is your move. (Do not move any more spaces, just on to the green.) Then you roll the die again. You can move any marble in play. Once you have a marble in play, you move the number of spaces that you roll on the die. As you move around the board you can jump over your opponents and your own marble. If your opponent occupies the space that you land on, you can, if you want send them back home. Your opponent will need to roll a 1 or 6 to come back out. If you do not send your opponent home, a second option is to move another marble that is in play. A player cannot jump over his own marble in the blue area. Players cannot pass the blue marked spaces. This means you need to have the exact roll in the blue spaces. Once you take your hand off your marble, your turn is over
The Twist
The Yellow and Red Spaces are why we call this game "Twisted Marbles"
If you land on one of the yellow spaces, on your next roll (If you roll a 1 or 6) you can move on the red space in the center. BUT!!! LoL you need to roll a 1 or a 6 to come out of the center. The player on the red can move on to any yellow space of their choice. The center is used for a short cut. You can also use the center to chase or get away from your opponent.
